I  decided  that  the  next  Christmas  card  I  made  would be  away  from  Green  and  Red . So  when  I rediscovered  this  LOTV  stamp  I  thought  I  could use  different  shades  .  It is  more  like  winter here  at  the  moment  rather  than  early  Spring  so  it  doesn't seem  so  unusual  to  be  making   Christmas  cards.  !!!

What  a  wonderful  subject  for  a  card  and it had  to  be  these  colours  .  Eighteen  months  ago  I  made  many  of  these  chocolates  for  the  place  cards  at my son's  sweet  themed  wedding  . It  was  nice  to  make  some  for  myself  this  time  .
I  cut out  the  shapes  and  stick  several  pieces  together  decorate  with  liquid  pearls  and  top  with  glossy  accents  .  Corrugated  card  adds  a  different  touch  . They  are  calorie  free  too  !

A dry  embossed  purple  satin   card

I made  this  tag  along  with  some other  Christmas  tags  by  cutting  the  shape of  the  candy  cane  from  several  sheets of  card  and  sticking  them  together . I used  my  cricut  cartridge  to  cut  them  .  I am  not  sure of  the  correct  term for  this  but  I  call it  laminating  . I  then  painted  it with  white acrylic paint and  sprayed  it  with  irridescent  Spray  and  Sparkle .







The  embellishments  are  Ribbon  ,ribbon  bow  ,dewdrops  and  peeloff  .

I  wanted  to  make  this  Silhouette  card  a little  different so  I  chose  a  busy  background  and  some  texture  and  glitter  . I didn't have a  card for  some good news  so  I hope  this  will  fit  the  bill when  needed  .

I used -Card Creations Plus Toolbox  to  design  the  background
I  edged  the card  and  paper  with  Silver Gilding  Wax  and  blue  panpastel  .
The  diecut , background  and  sentiment  were  cut  from  a  Cricut  cartridge and  glittered  .The  background  was  also  dry  embossed .
The  embellishments  are  just  confetti  stars  and  an  extra  sentiment  made  from  Dymo  Tape  .

I am  in  Christmas mode  again  today  and have  been  experimenting  with  frantage  and other  ways  of  making  snow  .I used  several  effects  of  snow on  this  card .I  chose  a  Black  card  to  show  the  snow off  to  best  effect  .  I had  made  an  Easter  card  earlier  .  I hope I  give  the  right one  at  Easter  !!!!

I  bought  this  little  die  yesterday  and  couldn't  wait  to  use it .In fact I  made four cards with it  straightaway.The stamp seemed to need a  C and S design .I also bought the trimmings at the same time so my first card had to be of  a pink palette .

Yellows  and  greens  are  the  colours of  Spring  to me  .  This  delightful  stamp  was  a  freebie in  a  magazine  recently  and  I  couldnt  wait  to  use  it  ,It  came  with  a  paper pad  and  I used  them  as  backing  papers on  this  card  .

I  made  the  background  for  this  card  ages  ago  and  put it on  one  side  .It is A4 card  and  I  decided  to  make it now  for  a  special  anniversary .

When  I  started  this  stepper  card  it  seemed  quite  small  but  when  stretched out  for  a  photograph it  was  longer  !! I  will  add  a  couple  more  photos  to  show  various  parts of  it  .
I  was  amazed  at  how long  this  card  took  to  make  but  there  are  so many  sides  to it  and  I  did matt  and  layer it  first  .  This  will be  ideal  for  a  cat  loving  relation  !

I have had  this  stamp  for  ages  and  felt it  was  too large  to  put on  one  card   so I  decided  to  shrink it  with  Shrink  plastic . The  result  enabled  me to  fit  three  small ones  on  the  card  and  by using  clear  shrink  plastic  it  gives  the  impression of  being  a  fine  fabric  .

I  have had the paper  that  I  used  for  the  Yellow  Brick  Road  for  some  time  .  I have  stroked it  enough  now  and  thought  it  would  emboss  well.

I wanted to include many aspects of Spring in this card .The word Spring in pastel colours was my starting  point  .


 I  cut  the  letters  on my  cricut machine  4  times and  dry  embossed  each of  the  letters with  a  different  folder  .before  colouring  them  with  promarkers .
I designed  the  foliage  background  on  Serif  and  added  blue  panpastel  for  the  sky .
The chicks  frog  and  bunny  are  wooden  and  the  hen  I  shrunk with  shrink  plastic.  The Easter  Bunny was  coloured  with  promarkers  .
I  used  cut  flowers  ,stickles  and liquid pearls and Easter  confetti  to  embellish  the  card .The  sentiment I printed on Letraset  Safmat  .

I  am  off  again now  as  all is  working  fine  ,I  thought  this  image of  spring  flowers  was  ideal  for  a  Mothers  Day  card  and  as I  am  into  dry  embossing  at  the  moment  I  thought  a  darker  background  would  set  the  daffodils off  well  .

I haven't  put  any  cards on my  blog  for  a  few  days  as  my  son  has  been  renewing  the  whole  blog  for me  ,  However it has  given  me  plenty  of  time  to  do my  own  cards instead of  those  for  challenges  .I have  also had  some  time  to  tidy  up  my  craft  room  too!!!!!
I  bought  this  cardboard  box  a  while  ago  and  after  completing  a  couple of  other  boxes  I  decided  to  make   a  Christmas  one  The  top  has  an inset  for  a  photo  etc.  but  I  decided  to  stamp it  in  white  and  the  recipient  can  put  whatever  they like  into it  .

Sadly  my mum  passed  away  several  years  ago  but  I  decided  to  make  a  Mother's  day  card  and  whilst  I  was  making it  I  thought  a  lot  about her  which  was  good  .

I  used  -
Twister  card  dry  embossed  with  flower  embossing  folder  .  The plate  for  the  twister  I  coloured  black embossed it  and sprayed  it  with  spray  and  sparkle > I used  gold  gilding  wax  to  highlight  the  flowers.
I  stamped  leaves  and  flowers using  my  smallest punches  and  arranged  them round  an  LOTV  sentiment  stamped in  white  embossing  powder  . 
Fairy  stamps  from  LOTV  fairy  collection  again  coloured  and  glittered  .
Embellishments  --- Ribbons  flowers  stickles  glue in  orange  and  yellow.

I have  been  dry  embossing  the  whole base card recently  and  I  decided  to  dig  out  my  Christmas  snowflake  embossing  folder  for  this  one  .  I  also  embossed  some   purple  paper  and  used  lilac  gilding  wax  to  highlight  it all  .  The  dearie  mouse  angel is  coloured with  promarkers  and  layered onto  black  shiny  card  which  was  punched  with  a  Martha  Stewart  All  around  the  page  punch  .  This  was embossed  with  chunky  white  frantage  .  I  added  die  cut  snowflakes  and  coloured  them  lemon  yellow .
The  embellishments  are  snowflake  button ,coloured  confetti  sentiment  and  peel offs   .

I  decided to  play  around  with the  background  for  this  card  and  used  my  Serif  Craft  artist  'Water  garden' to  produce  the  background I had  in mind  . The  dark  design  needed  something  bright on it  so  I  used  white  embossing  powder.I  really  wanted  the  wings  to  sparkle  but this  photo  doesnt  show  them up  well  so  I will  add  another  later  .
