As  the  summer  seems to  be coming  to  an  end ,I made  this  card  which  I might  send  to  a  friend  to  remind  them of  their holidays  .  I  created  a  background  and  sun  and  added  glossy  accents  and  glitter  to  give it  some  warmth  .
I  stamped  ,fussy  cut  and  coloured  with  PMs .LC  Designs  beachhut  dinkie  stamp  .The  background  paper is  from LOTV  paper  pads  and I  added  stickles  to  the  beach  huts  and  beach  ball.

I  really  enjoyed  rediscovering  my mica  paints  to  get  iridescence  on  this  card  .
I  began  by  using  a sheet of  stripey  paper  and  one  from  splodge  paper  pack  both  from LC  Designs  .  I  gilded  the  edges  of  the  splodge  paper  with  Gilding  wax .
The  key ring  was  designed on  a  graphics  program  and  I  fussy  cut  two  digi  dragonflies  ,
I  used  a  variety  of  mica paints  on  the  wings  and  also  added  glitter  ,The  sentiment is  a mini  peel off  .

I  really  need  to get  some  more  Christmas  tags  completed hence  this one  !
I  die  cut  a  bauble  shaped  tag  dry  embossed it  with  a Christmas flower  embossing  folder  and  then  applied  White  embossing  powder  . The  pine  branch  was  cut  from  a  Marianne  die of  that name  and  coloured  with  promarkers  .I  die  cut  the  petals  from  a  freebie  die  cut  in  vellum  and  embossed  them  with  white  pearl  embossing  powder  by WOW to give the waxy look.. The  stamens  are  punched  coloured  green  with  PMs  and  then  I  added  Stickles  and  liquid  pearls in  green  .
I  won  some  bead  chain  from  Noor  recently  and  some of  this  added  the finishing  touch  , Organza  green  and  white  ribbon  completed  the  card  .

This is  the  sort of  card  that  I  love making ,It  involves Digital  designing,colouring  adding  texture  and  die cutting  .
I began this  card  by  designing  a  summer  background  paper  using  Toolbox  program  .  I also  designed  the  beach background  using  a  serif  program  and  the  digistamps  from  another  ,
I  coloured  all  these  with  promarkers  and  added  texture  to  the items  with  glossy  accents  and liquid pearls  .
The  die  cut is  cut  from  gingham  card  using  Tonic  Verandah layering   Die  . The  embellishments  that  I  added  are  ice  cream  button  and  a  sentiment  'enjoy'  from Tim  Holtz  .

I  got  this  die  and  stamp  set  as  a  freebie  ages  ago  but  I  keep  using  it  and  trying  to  produce  different  effects   .
For  this  card  I  embossed  the  base  card  with  a  feather  embossing  folder coloured  with  panpastels  ,  added  some  feather  paper  background   and  stamped  the  sentiment  which  was  part of  the  set  . I  cut   several  die  cuts of  the  feathers  from  vellum  before  stamping  them with  versamark  .I  then  used  white  and  white  pearl  embossing  powder on  each of  the colours  and  chose  four  for  the  card . The  pearl  embossing  gave  them  a  waxy  look  .
The only  embellishments that  I  added  were  pearls  .

These  are not my  usual  colours  so it was  good  to use  them to  emphasize  details in  different  ways  . I used  a  cream  dinkie landscape  card  from  LC  Designs  for  the  base  card  .Then  I  debossed  a  snow pattern using  a  CC  Snowflake  embossing  folder on  Kraft  card spraying it  with  CC  Spray  and  sparkle  .
I  die  cut  a  branch  using  a  Marianne  branch  die in  brown  card   and  added  snowtex  for  snow  plus  Cosmic  shimmer  glitter  jewels  diamond  snow  ,liquid  pearls and stickles

I  recently  purchaesd  the  Kensington  handbag  die  from  Tonic  and  I havent  been  able  to  stop  experimenting making  new  handbag  gift bags  .
For  this one  I  used  white  card  for  the  base of  the  bag  which  I sprayed  with  C  and c\  sparkle  gold .
The  die  lets you use  various  types of  paper/card  and  to  make  this one I used  turquoise  mirri  card  and  paper  . I  added pearls  and  flowers  from my  stash and  handles  cut  from  white  card  .The lacy  effect  that you  can  get  from  this  die is  to  be  seen on  the  second photo  which  shows  the  detail  .These  bags  make  ideal  gift  bags  and  I intend  to  make  several  for  Christmas

This  card  was made in  record  time  as  the  ideas  came quickly  .  I  found  a  digi of  a pink   butterfly    using  a  graphics package  and  I  replicated it  onto  a  turquoise  background  . I used  a pre cut  frame  ,coloured it  turquoise  and  attached  a butterfly  embellishment  that  I have had in my  stash  for  ages  ,

I began  this  card  with  a  Hydrangea  digistamp from  Beary  wishes ,  which I  fussy  cut ,,coloured  with  promarkers  and  added  gold  stickles  to  the  stamens  .  I mounted it onto  a die  cut  from a  Sue  wilson  die  and  gilded  the  edges  ,I  added more  gold  stickles  and mounted it  all on  to  Craft work  cards  Gilded ombre  paper  . I  have made  this  card  for  a  relative  who  spent  a lot of his  youth  sailing on  these  ships  and  has  happy  memories of  them  .

This  bunny looks  as  though  he is  enjoying  his  birthday  balloon  in  his  garden  ,  I  used  a LOTV  green  paper  from  their  paper pads  on  the base  card  .I  designed  the  main  scene  using  digis  from  my  graphics program.  I  cut out  the design  and  used  brown  card  to layer it  on  which  I  then  spread  with  clear  stickles  to  give  some  sparkle  .  I  cut out  two  more  bunnies  and  decoupaged  the  Bunny  adding  a  googly  eye  and  a  bow  . I  used glossy  accents on  balloon , bunny  and  strawberry  I  die  cut  a  border  using  Tonic

I dug out  some old  black  and  white papers  from my  stash  for  this  card. I  dry  embossed  the  black one  with  a  brick  type  folder and  sanded it  .
The   digi  is  Gentleman  Ted  from  Di's  digis  which  I use  quite  a lot  but  this  time  decided  to  keep  him  white  .I used  white  flock  powder  for this  and PMs  for  the  rest  .

I  think  this is my  favourite  digi from  Pink  gem  and  I have used it  many times  ,Baby's  first  Christmas is  not  a card  that  is  readily  available  and  I  find  the new  parents  enjoy  getting  a  card  just  for  their  baby ,  I  always have  a  boy  and girl  card  available  for this  occasion.

I just love  this  bird box  dinkie  stamp  from LC  designs  which  I paper  pieced  with  wood  style paper  and  decorated  with PMs, confetti  stars  and  stickles  ,

I  saw  the idea for  this  type of  card in  a magazine  recently  and  decided to  add my  twist to it  .

Sweet  Peas  are  my  favourite flower  and  fortunately  they  have  grown  well in  the  garden  with  all  the  rain we have had  ,
I used  Sweet pea  papers  from OLL Sweet  Pea  for the three  background  papers for  this  card  .
I  coloured  a  sweet pea  digi  with  promarkers  added  a  sentiment  from my  stash  and  some  organza  ribbon and  a  bow  ,

I  was  sad  to  see  that  there  were  to be  no  more  Ruby's  Rainbow  Challenges  so  decided  to  make my  Sail  away  card  for  the  team  as  I  will miss your  inspiration  . Thank you  for  some  great  challenges  .
I  die  cut  a circle  to  use on the  Easel  card  and  coloured  the Di's  digi  animal  ark  with  Promarkers , added  a  rainbow  with  glossy  accents  to  decorate it,  and made  a background using  Panpastels .
I used  rainbow  card  for  the base  and  added  a  die  cut  sentiment  made  with Toolbox   design  cd  . I added  some  shells  for  the  stopper  .

 This  die  was  a  freebie  with  a  magazine  which  came  with the  two  stamps  that  I have used ,
I  cut  this  with  silver mirri  and  added PMs  to it  . 
I  stamped  the  flowers  added  colour  and  green  flock  for the  grass  ,The  sentiment is  also  a  stamp  from  the  set .

I  don't  usually  use  these  colours  but  was  surprised  as to how  much I  emjoyrd  using  them  .
I used  a  piece of  Craftwork  cards  Ombre papers  onto  which  I  stamped  a  LC  designs dinkie  stamp  'Spikey  flower,' I used  white  embossing  powder  .
I  coloured  some  white  ribbon  and bow  with PMs,  also  colouring  the  card  candi  to match  .

I  decided  to use  three  different  background papers  for  this  card  and  to use  three  embossing  folders to  introduce  several  textures  . The  papers  were  from  LOTV paper pads  and  two of  the  embossing  folders  are  from  CC Desire  and  the  centre one  is  from  a  freebie  .
The stamp is  From  L C Designs  and is  a  dinkie  stamp ' Welly  Girl'.  I  coloured it  with  Promarkers  and  Stickles  and  put it into  a  MDF  frame  from  a  £1 shop.
The  embellishments  I used  were  Gingham , Washi  tape  ,card candi  and  a  sentiment  from  my  stash  .

I  decided  that  I  wanted  a change from  stamping  and using  digistamps  this  week  and  to  make  some  flowers  and  this is  the result  . 
I  began  by  cutting  the  base  card  with  Tonic  Twisting  Verandah  layering  dies  . I used  the  same  die  for  the gold  layer  and  the  smaller  white  one  .I  debossed  the main  card using  a trellis  embossing  folder . 
 I  hadnt used my  frantage  for  a long  time  so used  aged  gold  and  white  on the  corners of  the  base  card  ,
I  die  cut  the  flowers  with  a  freebie  die  curled  them and  added  stickles  and  white  liquid  pearls  for  the stamens.
The  embellishments  are  gold  stickles  ,gilding  wax  and  spellbinders  ferns  die  for  the leaves  .
